Niger State Pension Board Announces Gratuity and Death Benefit Payments Today

The Niger State Pension Board has officially published the beneficiary lists for the latest round of gratuity and death gratuity payments for both state and local government beneficiaries.
In a public statement issued by the Board’s Director General and CEO, Alh. Nasiru Saidu Namaska, the exercise includes four newly approved batches:
– State Government Gratuity: Batch 13
– State Government Death Gratuity: Batch 2
– Local Government Gratuity: Batch 4
– Local Government Death Gratuity: Batch 1
The full beneficiary lists will be available for public review starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Niger State Pension Board Headquarters in Minna.
Cheque distribution to approved beneficiaries will begin on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
To ensure a smooth and decentralized collection process, local government retirees and next-of-kin beneficiaries are instructed to visit the designated collection centers assigned to their respective zones.
All eligible beneficiaries must present all required identification and verification documents at their designated collection points to ensure smooth clearance and cheque collection.
Reaffirming the agency’s core mission to serve pensioners with integrity and transparency, the Director General thanked all retirees and families for their continued patience and cooperation as the Board processes the approved retirement benefits.
