2027: Renewed Hope Project, Bago Support Group Form Strategic Alliance in Niger State
By Yahaya Zakka Minna.
In a major move to consolidate political momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Niger State chapter of the National Renewed Hope Project 2027 has established a formal operational synergy with the Bago Support Organisation (BSO).
The political alignment was reached during a high-level courtesy visit led by the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Project, Alhaji Dantala Mohammed, to the Director-General of the BSO, Engr. Ibrahim Mohammed Panti, at his office in Minna.
Addressing stakeholders during the meeting, Alhaji Dantala stated that the primary objective of the visit was to build a cohesive operational structure to maximize grassroots mobilization for the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state.
The joint initiative is designed to drive support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago.
Alhaji Dantala disclosed that the Renewed Hope Project has already deployed functional leadership structures across all 25 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Niger State.
He commended Governor Bago’s administrative footprint, describing his ongoing infrastructure and development projects as unprecedented, and noted that a second-term mandate would ensure sustained growth across the state.
Welcoming the delegation, Engr. Ibrahim Mohammed Panti underscored the imperative of a unified campaign framework to secure victory at both the federal and state levels.
He assured the delegation of BSO’s full backing, emphasizing that harmonizing strategies between support groups will significantly boost the party’s reach and efficiency leading into 2027.
The partnership reflects a growing trend within the APC in Niger State to integrate independent socio-political outfits alongside formal party machinery to reinforce voter alignment ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
